Croci refers to this parcel as his “beach”, as the mixture of sand, clay and limestone-rich marine fossils looks like, well…a beach. This un-disgorged sparkler is mostly the regional biotype of Malvasia with some Trebbiano and a few other rows of stuff thrown in for fun. It takes a while, but it ferments to dryness and is finished under crown cap.
