Named for Nadia's dad (pictured on the label), a visionary organic farmer of Monferrato who worked tirelessly to preserve the indigenous grape varietals of the region. This is Grignolino, picked on the earlier side and briefly macerated so as to not extract too much of the bitter tannin for which this variety is known. The 2021 vintage is more than a bit prickly, so expect some effervescence, chill it down and chug it with a huge plate of prosciutto.. ALLA GOCCIA!!
