In the shadow of Europes highest mountains, the native grape Prié Blanc flourishes at an elevation where no other variety can survive. 60 acres of ungrafted vines are grown on heroic 45° slopes, always within sight of snow fields. Viticulture almost should not exist here. This is a story of ingenuity and extreme effort in a marginal environment needing constant upkeep
