Meigamma is located in Villasimius, in the province of Cagliari, famous for its beaches and beautiful sea. Their organically farmed vineyard is just 1.1 hectares, cultivated with Cannonau, Cabernet, Carignano and Muristellu, on sandy soil at 700 meters from the sea, in the Sardinian hills. Meigamma in Sardinian means "rest after lunch". This is a slow lifestyle philosophy from which Barbara and Joseph are inspired to produce their magnificent wines. This is powerful Vermentino, macerated on skins for the entirety of fermentation. Full bodied and textured, but always retaining its white wine purity and drinkability, this delights with notes of slightly underripe peach and nectarine. Unmistakably Sardinian Vermentino!
