Bonnaire Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature

  • $71.00

“Bonnaire’s wines are creamy and opulent, with a sleekly polished richness. In the spectrum of Côte des Blancs champagnes, they tend to be on the generous side rather than the racy one, yet at the same time, they retain a firm structure and an intense minerality that reflects Cramant’s chalky soils.

100% Chardonnay grown in the Grand Cru village of Cramant in Côte des Blancs with 48 months of lees aging and zero dosage. This is the expression that initially raised the bar for Bonnaire. The texture on this does not read as brut nature with baked apples, poaches pears, lemon merengue, white flowers, and papaya. A soft and creamy mousse builds in the mouth with tiny bubbles that persist to a finish that is opulent and pretty with a long finish.
