You know it’s cool when even the varietally obsessed Italians just kinda shrug and label the thing as “field blend” and say it has fifteen local varieties, but still give it IGT status anyway. They’re not exactly sure how old the block is either. Biodynamic mystery juice!!! Spoiler alert: it probably has a bunch of Sangiovese in there.
