Barbacan Rosato 2021

  • Sold out

This pale pink rosato from the far northern end of Lombardy is predominantly Chiavennasca (the local variant of Nebbiolo), with a handful of other varieties in the field blend from forty-year-old vines.  The wine is left on the skins for just one night, and aged in concrete after fermentation with indigenous yeast.  Delicate floral aromatics mingle with berry and citrus notes.
