Seven generations of the Billecart family have dedicated themselves to Champagne production in their small corner of Mareuil-Sur-Ay, seeking perfection over their production instead of rapid expansion. This cuvee is 40% Pinot Meunier, with the remaining balance split evenly between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Up to 60% of the blend is reserve wines, and extended (40+ months) of lees contact is the norm here.
