Claudio Vio’s holdings are small, only about 2 hectares. But in that small space, he packs a lot of punch.  This Vermentino, farmed at 1000 ft elevation about 6 miles from the coast sees 36 hours on the skins and stainless steel fermentation and aging.  The result is a nervy Vermentino with aging potential.
