This a marvelously balanced effort from Champagne Marquet. A 75/25 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from biodynamic Grand Cru vineyards in Ambonnay and Bouzy. It’s all about the intense minerality here, with plenty of zippy citrus and stonefruit. No dosage is added, so each bottling is a pure expression of the vineyards in each specific vintage.
