A captivating but crushable blend of 80% Nero d’Avola with 20% Syrah from organically farmed volcanic soils. Viola adds nothing, fermenting with only native yeasts and adding no sulfur. The wine is aged for only a few months in mature chestnut to soften the edges. Bright plum and cherry fruit mingle with a hint of balsamic and some herbaceous freshness on the nose.
