This is the cru that was famously hyped up by the late Giuseppe Rinaldi as one of his favorites, and it does not disappoint. Snappy and concentrated red fruits interlace with savory notes of sage, violet and dried rose. There is a structure to this that reminds us of young Rinaldi wines, so definitely get some meat on the grill or in the dutch over for a long braise! This is criminally inexpensive for the level of quality in the bottle.
