Varieties: Apples (Boskoop, Fréquin, among others), Grapes (Chardonnay), Pears
Winemakers all over France have found they need to be a bit creative over the last
few years due to uncooperative weather conditions such as frost, hail, or lack of
rain. Côme had the idea to combine apples, grapes, and pears to make this drink,
which is reminiscent of France’s best ciders. This would pair well with an entire
meal! It would work great on its own as an apéritif, but would be great with white
meat cooked with apples (pork, veal), creamy cheeses such as Brie and Camembert,
and apple and pear based desserts.
