“Ponte di Toi” is a parcel of older vine Vermentino made with a modest regime of skin contact. It’s really not an orange wine, though it’s leesy, cloudy appearance might make you think it’s more rustic than it really is… In the glass, this feels more like a decadent and textural version of Ligurian Vermentino. There are hints of salt air, but loads of citrus and honeyed tones on display here.
