Cru Barolo that is ageworthy, but softer and lower in alcohol. Principiano only produces this single Cru in the best years, when he deems the result to be worthy of long-term cellaring. The organic, regeneratively-farmed vines of the Boscareto sit on a Southeast facing slope at around 1200 ft elevation and are fermented naturally before aging in neutral large format barrels. A high percentage of stem inclusion makes the aromatics SOAR! The result is a classic Barolo nose of flowers and balsamic.
