Jean Foillard is one of Beaujolais' "Big 4" wine makers and this is an incredible offering. An incredibly delicate wine, light in both color, body and mouth feel. The nose is like opening a jar of Amarena Fabbri cherries, in addition to cranberry and hint of black currant. Somewhat atypical of a Morgon, it seems as though it's focus is on the fruit rather than the terroir.
