Nathalie Vignier has a clear and focused vision. This 100% Chardonnay cuvee, all from the 2013 vintage, is a study in silex, the less common flint and sand soil that comprises only ⅓ of Vignier’s holdings. It’s then barrel aged in wood from a nearby forest that the family owns before resting in bottle for seven years. It’s a rattlingly bright ray of sunshine.
