The Posenato family moved here from Vicenza in the 19th century. Their property sits 290 meters above the Alpone and Illasi valleys and is perfectly situated for growing ripe and healthy Pinot Grigio. Francesco and Rudolfo Posenato overlook the production of this hidden gem.
Wine Notes: Mainly Sangiovese, with small amounts of Ciliegiolo, Colorino, Canaiolo and Vaiano. A blend of three parcels of various ages, elevations and expositions, harvested individually. The grapes are destemmed and spend ten days on skins, followed by a year in old chestnut casks. With gorgeous aromatics and a cherry-hue, it displays a wonderful brightness of fruit.
