Giovanna Maccario is the daughter of one of the pioneers of viticulture in Liguria. Starting her 21st vintage, Giovanna farms the steep vineyards by hand. Vines , some over 100 years old are trained in the alberello system at such an incline that mechanization is impossible. The "Sette Cammini" refers to the high altitude vineyard that produces small batches at over 550 meters above sea level.
