Werther-Windisch originally only sold grapes. It wasn't until son Jens took over that they started making wine. Jens cut his teeth working harvest in New Zealand before studying wine at Geisenheim University. His first vintage was 2010, and has been fully organic since 2020. This dry, mineral driven Pinot Blanc has a long mouth feel. "Von Kalk" in German means "with chalk."
